Lonnie Kay Jenson

Mrs. Lonnie K. Jenson, age 68, of Iola, died unexpectedly Monday, December 31st, 2012. Lonnie was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 19, 1944, the daughter of the late Milan and June (Wery) Nikolich. Lonnie married James Jenson on June 3, 1977 in Waukegan, Illinois. Lonnie enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond, doing crosswords, working on her computer, cross stitching, bowling, tanning, golfing and traveling. She is survived by her Husband: James Jenson of Iola; Daughter: Lauren (Mark) Borth of Iola; Grandchildren: Aaron Borth of Iola. Kelsey Borth of Iola; Sister: Belle (Chuck) Mosser of Melbourne, Florida; Sister in law: Barb Jenson of Waupaca; Niece: Nicole Perkins of Melbourne, Florida. Lonnie he is also survived by her Bassett Hound--Chloe cousins other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a her Daughter: Jennifer Thorne on Jan 7, 2012. Funeral Service will be held at Scandinavia Lutheran Church in Scandinavia at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 4th, 2013 with Reverend Mark E. Sabin officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday 4-7 PM. at Voie Funeral Home in Iola and Friday at the church from 10-11 AM. Interment will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery.
