Ronald L. Wandel

Ronald Lee Wandel, age 58, of Iola, died Sunday, October 21st, 2012 at his residence. Ronald was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 9, 1954, the son of the late Robert Lee and Jean (Peterson) Wandel. He married Nancy Heisler on November 18, 1972 in Elmbrook, Wisconsin. Ron worked as a machinist for Milwaukee Electric Tool and International in Waukesha. He retired in 2004. Ron enjoyed fishing and spending time on the water, traveling to warm weather, spending time with his family and socializing with his friends. He is survived by his Wife: Nancy Wandel of Iola; Daughter: Sarah (Nate) Holder of Iola; Son: Robert Wandel of Milwaukee; Five Grandchildren: Brittany, Jacob & Ryan Wandel, Anastacia & Andy Holder. Brothers: Robert (Carol) Wandel of Hubertus; Timothy (Von) Wandel of Honey Lake, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Step father: Norman Gray and Grandparents. Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at E6073 County Highway C, in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County, Wisconsin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2012 with Reverend Janice Kuder officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
