Margaret Ann Shipman

Margaret Ann Shipman, age 77, of Iola, formerly of Kenosha, died Saturday, September 29th, 2012 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Margaret was born in Wilkesville, Ohio on December 15, 1934, the daughter of the late Charles and Garnet (Martin) Jones. She married William J. Shipman on Nov 28, 1951 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2007. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her dog Axel. She liked to watch NASCAR along with the Green Bay Packers. She also enjoyed going to the casino, listening to country music and spending time with her family. She is survived by her Sons: William Charles (Mona) Shipman of Kenosha. Michael (Sue) Shipman of Iola. Robert (Haylie) Shipman of Waupun. Mark (Carrie) Shipman of Winneconne. Margaret is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and One Sister: Ramona Davis of Albany, Ohio and goddaughter: Margaret Reener of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Harold, Jones, Carney "Rook" Jones and Charles "Jack" Jones. A Memorial Service will be held at Voie Funeral Home in Iola at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 6th, with Reverend Mark Shipman officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10-11 AM. Interment of cremains will be in the Riverside Cemetery in the Township of Iola, Waupaca County, Wisconsin.
