George H. Immler

George H. Immler, age 71, of Iola died Saturday, September 1st, 2012 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 2, 1941, the son of the late Ferdinand and Emma (Schwartz) Immler. George served in the U.S. Air Force and later worked at Badger Meter in Milwaukee for over 30 years. George retired to the Iola area and thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing; along with feeding the birds and animals on his property. He is survived by his Sister: Louise (Russ) Peterson of Savannah, Georgia; Brother: Kurt (Pat) Immler of Dousman, Wisconsin. George is also survived by a Nephew: Mike Immler of Milwaukee, Nieces: Jennifer Immler of Milwaukee, Lisa Peterson of Chicago and Linda (Tom) Douglas and their family; Sabrina & Ted, all of Severna Park, MD. A Memorial Service will be held at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 8th, with Reverend Dale Eggert officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday 10-11 AM. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
