Annette L. Bergen

Mrs. Annette Leona Bergen, age 74, of Iola, died Sunday, February 5th, 2012, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Annette was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on January 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (White) Fellerman. She married Kenneth Bergen on Dec 7, 1957, in Bayport, Minnesota. They moved to Iola in 1966 to run their farm and raise their family. After retiring from farming in 1987, Annette worked at Krause Publications until 2000. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and very active in her church. Going to the pool, sharing coffee with friends, tending her flower garden, and playing Scrabble, were some of her most favorite ways to spend time. She is survived by her Husband: Kenneth Bergen of Iola; Daughters: Denise (Jeff Dedrick) Bergen of Milton, WI; Diane (Jim Halverson) Bergen of Madison, WI; Debra (Don) Overbye of River Falls, WI. Son: Daryl (Sharyl) Bergen of Peterson, MN. Twelve Grandchildren: Alina Capanna & Emma Dedrick; Ashley, Ethan, Calvin & Karl Bergen; Jake & Dayna Nagel; Morgan, Tara, Angel, & Gabby Overbye. Brother: Alfred (Janis) Fellerman of Woodbury, MN Sisters: Virginia Klund of Stillwater, MN; Viola (Norman) Alrick of Woodbury, MN; LaVonne (Luches) Hamilton of Woodbury MN; Bonnie (Russ) Fryer of Anoka, MN Memorial Visitation will be Thursday, February 9th, from 4-7 PM, at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola. A Memorial Service will be held at Northland Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10th, with Reverend Dan Somers officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the the parish cemetery.
