John I. Isaacson

John I. Isaacson, age 60, of the Town of New Hope died Thursday, January 19th, 2012. He was born on March 15, 1951, the son of the late Irving and Alma "Frieda" (Hiller) Isaacson. John was baptized at North New Hope Lutheran Church. He graduated from Iola-Scandinavia High School in 1969. John was a creative and meticulous welder who loved working with metal. He was a lifelong farmer and always appreciated his helpful neighbors. He is survived by Sisters: Lois (Jerry) Barney of Fergus Falls, MN; Mary (William) Schroeder of Amherst; Brother: Paul Isaacson of Amherst Jct.; Foster Brother: Mike (Karen) Johnson of Rosholt. he is also survived by nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at North New Hope Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 18th, with Reverend Dwight Anderson officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Interment of cremains will be in the North New Hope Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to North New Hope Lutheran Church.
