Hilbert "Bert" E. Guetzke, Jr.

Hilbert "Bert" E. Guetzke, Jr., 71, of Rosholt died Thursday, November 24, 2011 after a brief illness. Bert was born in Germantown, on February 7, 1940, son of the late Hilbert and Margaret (Bernhardt) Guetzke. He married Diane Stenson on April 23, 1960 in Menomonee Falls, WI. She preceded him in death on February 16, 2011. Bert was in sales most of his life, owning his own variety stores in Germantown and Tigerton. He also worked for Joern's for many years. He was a huge Rosholt Hornets fan. Bert was well known and well liked in the communities he lived in. He is survived by: Daughters: Gloria (Allen) Gindt Indianapolis, IN.; Janet (Allen) Zander, Rosholt; Son: Glenn (Julie) Guetzke, Mequon; Sister: Eileen (Harvey) Goschey, West Bend; Brothers: Lavern (Shirley) Guetzke, Colgate; Richard Guetzke, Jackson; Roger (Arlene) Guetzke,Waupaca. and Jim (Theresa) Guetzke, Germantown.Mother-in-law: Dorothy Stenson, West Bend. Bert is further survived by; 6 grandchildren: Jessica (David) Gindt-Beeler, Lauren Gindt, Kelly (Andy) Zander-Hartvig, Matthew (Kelly Garski) Zander, Brandon Guetzke, and Alyssa Guetzke. 1-Great granddaughter: Madisyn Hartvig. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Donald, Roland, and Ronald Guetzke. Funeral services will be held @ 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church in Rosholt with the Rev. John Poffinbarger officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will be in the Concordia Lutheran Cemetery Rosholt, Wisconsin.
