Lavella I. Eaton Lavella I. Eaton, 91, of Iola, died Saturday, November 5th, 2011 at Iola Living Assistance. Lavella was born in Polar, WI. on December 30, 1919, the daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie (Seeber) Frayer. She married Willard Eaton on August 5, 1938 in Neenah, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2000. Lavella was a home maker raising two sons. She worked in the laundry at Theda Clark Hospital and later with Superior Linen Services. She loved her kitties and the outdoors, especially making her own fire wood. She is survived by: Sons: Charles (Rosemarie) Eaton Iola. Thomas (Betty) Eaton Iola Grandchildren: Kari (Tom) Flenz Menasha. Kurt (Michelle) Eaton Appleton. Kristi (Jeff) Borman Avondale, PA Amy Hirst Appleton. Jeff (Becky Gall) Eaton Neenah. Sister-in-law Janece "Bunny" Simerson Brookfield Great grandchildren; Chad and Kira Flenz ; Eric Rachel, Luke, and Claire Borman: Allison and Spencer Eaton: Holly and Sophie Hirst. Lavella was preceded in death by: 2 brothers: John and Ernest Frayer; Inlaws: Marie Frayer, Bernard and Verna (Eaton) Bayer; and Eugene "Jiggs" and Judy Eaton. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 @ 11:00 AM at the Hitterdahl Lutheran Church in the Town of Iola, Wisconsin with Reverend Dale Wilson officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in the Hitterdahl Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. The family wishes to thank the staff of ILA, Chaplain Marcia Sabin, and Rev. Dale Wilson. Voie Funeral Home of Iola assisted the family with arrangements.
