Arthur "Rocky" Krueger

Arthur "Rocky" Krueger, age 84, of Iola, entered into eternal life on Monday, June 27th, 2011. Arthur was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 30, 1926, the son of the late Arthur and Isabelle (Strausman) Krueger. Arthur worked for Pabst Brewery for over 26 years and Krause Milling for 16 years. He enjoyed gardening, tree farming and selling vegetables on the corner of Main street in Iola. He also liked to listen to polka music and was a bird watcher. Rocky also was a member of the Iola Lions Club. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by Special Friend: Patricia Curler of Iola; Daughters: Deborah Krueger of Stevens Point. Deborah Fritsche of Sussex. Nancy Baxter of Menomonee Falls; Granddaughters: Tia Krueger & Kristin Fritsche; 20 year old Cat: Mitzy and Pat's family: Jim Horvat of Florida, Judy Ziebell of Warrens, WI; Phil Curler of Black River Falls. Rocky was preceded in death by Two Brothers: Russell & Bob Krueger; Sister: Dorothy Eggert and Close friend: Sylvia Baxter Funeral Service will be held at Voie Funeral Home in Iola at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 1st, with Reverend Dale Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday 11-1 PM. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pine Lawn Cemetery in Milwaukee, on Tuesday, July 5th. Meet at cemetery office at 11:30 AM.
