Marjorie A. Peterson

Marjorie A. Peterson, age 90, of King, died Thursday, May 12th, 2011 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Stordock Hall. Marjorie was born in Township of St. Lawrence, Waupaca County, Wisconsin on October 7, 1920 daughter of the late Arthur and Mayme (Kienholz) Rowe. Marjorie married Kermit H. Peterson on May, 1946 at the Scandinavia Lutheran Church. Prior to her marriage to Kermit, she was a secretary for Northwest Airlines and then following raising her son, she went back to work as a secretary for the State of Wisconsin. She enjoyed fishing, reading, and gardening. She is survived by: Her husband: Kermit H. Peterson King Son: Todd (Sara) Peterson Lake In The Hills, Illinois Grandson: Kirk Daniel Peterson She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Michael Peterson, and a sister, Mertyce Mayne. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 @ 1:00 PM at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola with the Rev. Wayne Schwanke officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery.
