Donna M. Zinke, age 72, of Iola, formerly of Watertown, died Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. Donna was born in New London, Wisconsin on March 15, 1939, the daughter of the late Donald D. and Ethel L. (Stitchman) Decker. Donna married Philip Zinke on July 10, 1971 at the United Methodist Church in Watertown. Donna received her Masters Degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was a music teacher for the Watertown School District at Lincoln, Douglas and Lebanon Schools for over 31 years. She had also taught at schools in Berlin and Tomah and retired in 1998. She was a member of the Euterpe Music Club in Watertown and was very active in the Watertown United Methodist Church Choir and most recently North New Hope Lutheran Church of Amherst Jct. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and golfing. She is survived by Husband: Philip Zinke of Iola; Sisters: Laura (B.) Seabolt of St. Charles, MO. Carla (Jim) Burmeister of Hogansville, Georgia Brother: Louis Decker of Wautoma. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by Brother: Ronald Decker. Funeral Service will be held at North New Hope Lutheran Church at 845 County Road T, Amherst Jct., at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 13th, with Reverend John Poffinbarger officiating. Visitation will be held Friday 10-11 AM. at North New Hope Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery in New London, Wisconsin.
