Stephen C. Cunningham

Mr. Stephen C. Cunningham, age 67, of Iola, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, April 17th, 2011 at Iola Living Assistance. Stephen was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on March 18, 1944, the son of the late Charles Thomas and Lorraine A. (Close) Cunningham. Steve married Susan Malecki in 1966 and they later divorced. Steve served in the United States Air Force Reserves for 6 years. He worked as a machinist at Allen Bradley Corporation from 1962-1972 and was the plant supervisor for Galloway West in Fond du Lac from 1972- 1993. Steve received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and worked his later years as public and private accountant. He is survived by: Daughter: Jeannine (Mike) Harbridge of Iola; Son: Kevin (Michelle) Cunningham of Taycheedah; Brother: Charles (Marsha) Cunningham of Wausau; Sisters: Sandy Shimokawa of West Bend. Cherryl (Ken) Ridgeman of Mukwonago. Stephen is also survived by Two Granddaughters: Grace & Cameron Harbridge; Two Grandsons: Jacob & Alex Cunningham and Cousin: Susan Staley of Waukesha. He was preceded in death by his parents, CharlesThomas and Lorraine A. Cunningham, and an infant brother: Darrell. A Memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 from 10 AM - 11 AM. followed by a private family service.
