Robert Leighton Pfleegor

Mr. Robert Leighton Pfleegor, age 68, of Iola, died Thursday, February 10th, 2011 at his residence. Robert was born in Buffalo, New York on October 22, 1942, the son of the late Robert Leighton and Madeline Esther (Sesinger) Pfleegor. He married Lynda A. Wrolsen on July 2, 1966 in Saugerties, New York. Robert graduated from West Seneca High School in Buffalo, New York. He received his BS degree from the University of Buffalo and his PHD from the University of Rochester. Robert taught Physics at Carroll College. Later he started a used machinery business in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He and Lynda retired and moved to Iola in 1999. He is survived by his Wife: Lynda Pfleegor of Iola; Son: Brian Pfleegor of Hortonville. A Memorial Service will be held at Voie Funeral Home in Iola at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 14, 2011 with Reverend Dale Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Hitterdahl Lutheran Cemetery in the Township of Iola. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to Hitterdahl Lutheran Church and Theda Care at Home Hospice. The family would like to thank Reverend Dale Wilson for his many, caring visits and the Staff of Theda Care at Home Hospice for the exceptional love and care shown to Robert and his family.
