M. Donald Gunness

M. Donald Gunness M. Donald Gunness, 92, of Iola, died Sunday, January 9th, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca, Wisconsin. Don was born in Janesville, WI. on February 26, 1918, the son of the late Melvin and Amanda (Pederson) Gunness. He married Doris Burg on October 10, 1942 in Appleton, WI. She survives. Don worked for the United States Armed Forces Institute in Madison for 31 years as a budget and finance officier. He is survived by: Wife: Doris Gunness Iola Daughters: Donna (Bob) Thompson Iola Sandy (Don) Tatman Syracuse, IN. Brothers: Wayne Gunness Janesville Warren (Joan) Gunness Janesville He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren A memorial service for Don will be held later in the spring at the Scandinavia Lutheran Church.
