Frank S. Kempka, age 54, of Big Falls, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at his residence. Frank was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin on September 6, 1956, the son of the late Edward and Esther (Wojciechowski) Kempka. Frank enlisted in the United States Army immediately out of high school, attaining the rank E4. After his honorable discharge in 1976, he worked for the UW- Stevens Point. He was an Over the Road Truck driver until 1992, then dispatched at H.O. Wolding Trucking until 2004. He was also a Rural Route Carrier for Waupaca Post Office until Feb 2005. Frank loved farming, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his granddaughter. He is survived by Daughter: Melanie (Josh Wollenberg) Kempka Big Falls Sons: Michael (Amanda Gray) Kempka Iola Jonathan Kempka Ogdensburg Brother: Edward (special friend: Marsha Parse) Kempka Fremont Granddaughter: Aiyana Odette Kempka Iola. He was further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: Maternal Grandparents: Stanislaw and Veronica Wojciechowski, Paternal Grandparents Alexander and Martha Kempka , and Aunt: Evelyn Rice. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 @ 1:00 PM at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola with the Rev. Jim Frank officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment of cremains will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin.
